Today I thought we’d talk a little bit about BDSM, and some of the basic concepts. But before I start, some thank you’s are in order.

First of all, I wanted to thank all the member’s of the Enchantrix Empire that gave me a call during my Featured Mistress Day. It was a great day, and I had a blast getting to know those of you that were new callers, and spending more time with the ones I had already spoken to.

What is BDSM?

There is no simple answer, as the sheer range of activities, mindsets, and relationships that can fall under it is practically infinite. But the umbrella itself consists of Bondage and Discipline, Dominance and Submission, and Sadism and Masochism. I’ve seen the actual definition of the acronym argued about for hours, with some insisting that the SM part stands for Slave and Master. To me, it’s a moot point, as to cover everything that can possibly fall under the umbrella would make the acronym very, very long…
