Freelance LDW Correspondent castaway has returned to the Daily Cock with a familiar yet rather timely question:  “Are you ready for some football?”  Of course, those of you out there that are pigskin fans already know that the NFL playoffs kicked off this past weekend in grand style, with three of the four games going down to the final minute.  And in this stroker’s opinion, I believe in the weeks ahead there will be even more excitement to come.

And you don’t have to simply take it from me, as two of LDW’s Finest are in agreement with my sentiment, and they are backing it up with a terrific promotion that will generate winners from those who participate in advance of the Super Bowl.

Perhaps most of you out there are familiar with those Super Bowl Block pools that get passed around during a house party or the office in the week leading up to the game, where one buys a numbered square or two in hopes of matching up with the score of the big game.  Well, starting on Friday, January 17th, we will begin filling out our own LDW Super Bowl block pool.

The minimum requirement for participating will be a 10 minute call, and those who do at least a 30 minute session will be guaranteed a sexy door prize.

But I’m breaking a classic rule of journalism here–two paragraphs in and I’ve buried the lead.  Any savvy reader is probably asking:  which of the Lovely Ladies of LDW are going to be the co-captains of this promotion?  Most of you readers should be very familiar by now with the co-host of The Weekly Hot Spot, Mistress Delia.  Her enthusiasm for a project is infectious, and she’s also a bona fide football fanatic, not afraid to get her uniform dirty as she roots for her beloved Patriots to bring the Lombardi trophy home one last time.

Partnering with Ms. Delia is the magnificent Mistress Marlena, who, while not a huge sports aficionado, does bring to the table a Masters Degree in Applied Statistics, so perhaps she can offer some of her academic expertise to selecting just the right squares to maximize your chances to win.  Not to mention, she also is well aware with her submissive pets here as well as in real time that a stretch attack is the perfect way to neutralize a tight end.
