As resident serial thriller expert you can all probably guess some of the books I love.  Everything from Sweetheart by Chelsea Cain (sexy female serial thriller) to the Smokey Barret books by Cody McFaden (pretty scary stuff) to real life reports of people who fascinate me endlessly.

Being a criminal/psych student the twisted minds and why things are done get my own mind going to try to figure out and that is the essence of everything I read.  It has to make me think about something.  The book doesn’t have to be deep or Pulitzer Prize winning, though Middlesex and Blonde are amazing, but it does have to touch me in some way.

My boyfriend Stephen King can pretty much do that with any book he writes, but some of this latest; Dr. Sleep and Revival are especially wonderful.  Anne Rice is my go to for BDSM erotica and vampires, since I don’t like mine to sparkle.  My sparkles come from things like The Devil Wears Prada and anything by Francesca Lia Block. And if you happen to like M/M fiction, which I so do, Christopher Rice writes everything from horror to adult fiction to erotica.

So there you have it!  Pretty typical and not too surprising for some, very surprising for others. – Cassidy

As a lover of all knowledge I read many types of books.  Currently I am reading “What If?: Serious Scientific Answers to Absurd Hypothetical Questions” and the Outlander Series…I told you I was diverse!  I love to settle down with a good crime thriller set in New York by Robert Tannenbaum or explore Matisse’s late work with “Henri Matisse: Drawing with Scissors”.
