Time to stop! SAN DIEGO — In what apparently is the largest file-sharing settlement against a single defendant in the U.S., an East Coast man has consented to a $250,000 judgment against him for downloading six Corbin Fisher movies.

As much as i would like to see it for free i don’t because it’s wrong. People file sharing should ask themselves; Do they work for free?” of course not! Why should they expect these actors, directors and any one else involved to work for free
Should It be free? I probably wouldn’t go that far. Free porn is great because its free, but the quality just isnt there like the porn produced from a studio. (Pirates anyone?…I have both of them! lol)
However, I don’t feel the penalty should be so severe. Stealing is stealing but it seems as though the law protects porn and music more than it protects identities and such.
For trashing someones name,persona, or stealing their identity or bullying, there is virtually no repercussions, but download some free porn or an mp3 and face the possible life ruining lawsuit.
